The S-Band Optical Delay Lines from RFOptic are Optical Delay Lines that have a delay range of 0.001 - 500 μsec with up to 4,096 delay steps. They operate at a frequency range of 0.1 - 4 GHz and have a switching time of 10 ms. These ODLs have a delay accuracy of 0.5 % and delay repeatability of 0.05 % (at +/- 5 0C variations). They have a 1dB compression point of over 15 dB and a Spurious Free Dynamic Range (SFDR) of 105 dB/Hz2/3. These ODLs have a gain flatness of ±2.5 dB and can handle a maximum input of 20 dBm without damage.
The S-Band Optical Delay lines can be controlled manually via a navigation switch interface on the front panel and remotely via a USB interface on the rear panel. They support SMA RF connectors and FC/APC fiber connectors. These ODLs have a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) input/output of 2.1 dBm and an input/output impedance of 50 Ohms. They have a spurious of -80 dBm and phase noise of -130 dBc/Hz (at 6 GHz, 10KHz offset). These ODLs require an AC voltage of 220/110 V and are ideal for radar calibration testing, signal and phase noise processing, extension of radar range site, clutter canceler, EW systems and altimeter applications.
