The LME from InfraTec is a Single Crystal Lithium Tantalate (LiTaO3) Analogue Pyroelectric Optical Detector. It has a free-to-select sampling rate with a maximum modulation frequency of 4 kHz. This analogue detector has a selectable external A/D converter and interface. It has non-adjustable feedback components and high requirements for system integration on the device side. This detector offers high sensitivity and a good signal-to-noise ratio without additional cooling or temperature stabilisation. It requires a DC supply voltage of up to 5 V and consumes 0.1 mW of power. This optical detector is ideal for gas analysis and flame detection applications.
