The BOSA 400 series from Aragon Photonics is an Optical Spectrum Analyzer based on stimulated Brillouin scattering spectroscopy that operates from 1525 to 1565 nm with a wavelength accuracy of up to 0.5 pm. This analyzer has a measurement speed of 20 nm/s, an optical resolution of 10 MHz (80 fm) and a spurious-free dynamic range of more than 80 dB. It can handle an input power of less than 20 dBm and has a sensitivity of -70 dBm / 0.1 pm. The analyzer has a peak analysis function that lets you characterize a comb in a matter of seconds and export the data in a csv file. Other functions include trace locking, power integral and dual-channel polarization. This instrument is ideal for Scientists and Engineers involved in R&D and can be smoothly integrated with the rest of the laboratory infrastructure. BOSA 400 series includes an internal TLS in the box, making a stand-alone complete solution. It does not require any previous setup, just switch it on and measure the optical spectra of the signal under test with speed and reliability.
