The TOCON_Si10 from Boston Electronics is a Silicon-based VIS Photodetector that operates at a responsivity range of 390 nm - 800 nm. It has a maximum spectral responsivity of 560 nm and responsivity at peak wavelength of 62 mV/Mlux. This photodetector has a bandwidth of 15 Hz and rise time of 0.073 s. It has a maximum illuminance of 80 Mlux and minimum illuminance (resolution limit) of 80 klux. This photodetector has a saturation voltage of up to 5 V (-5 %) and dark output voltage of 700 µV (at 10 MOhm load).

The TOCON_Si10 can be directly connected to a controller or voltmeter or any other data-analyzing device with voltage input. It requires a DC supply voltage of 2.5 V - 5 V and consumes 150 µA of current. This v-lambda-weighted photodetector has an integrated amplifier and is available in a hermetically sealed TO-5 package with a diffusor. It is ideal for strong illuminance measurement, ambient light sensing such as stray light detection, and sunlight measurement applications.
