The SAR500H4 from Laser Components is a Silicon Avalanche Photodiode that operates at a wavelength of 400 nm - 1000 nm. It has a bandwidth of 20 kHz - 470 MHz and minimum aperture size of Ø 1.70. This photodiode has a responsivity of 0.22 MV/W (at 540 nm), 0.32 MV/W (at 650 nm), and 0.4 MV/W (at 905 nm). The SAR500H4 has an optimized low-noise hybrid preamplifier and offers differential-ended output. It has a diameter of 0.5 mm and an output noise density of 50 nV/rt(Hz). This photodiode requires a DC supply voltage of 3.3 V or 5 V, consumes 30 mA of current, and dissipates 150 mW of power.
