The TEST2600 from Vishay Intertechnology is a Silicon NPN Phototransistor that has a spectral bandwidth from 850 to 980 nm. It has a daylight blocking filter that matches with 940 nm IR emitters and has an angle of half sensitivity of ±30 degrees (horizontal) & ±60 degrees (vertical). This phototransistor has a minimum collector-emitter (C-E) breakdown voltage of 70 V, C-E dark current of up to 100 nA, and C-E capacitance of 6 pF. It has a turn-on/turn-off time of 5 - 6 μs and a cut-off frequency of 110 kHz. This phototransistor is available in a black miniature side-view plastic package that measures 3.6 x 2.2 x 3.4 mm and is ideal for optical switches, counters & sorters, interrupters, tape & card readers, encoders, and position sensors applications.
