The PCDA4-01 from Vigitek is an Electro-Optical (EO) Pockels Cell Driver that has a maximum repetition rate of 2 kHz (with 4.6 mm transformer) and 5 kHz (with 9.2 mm transformer). It has a high voltage pulse width of 0.5 μs - 2 μs and amplitude of 2800 V - 3800 V. This Q-switch pockels cell driver has a pulse-to-pulse instability of 5% and pulse delay vs TTL trigger pulse of 20 μs - 30 μs. It has a rising & falling front duration of 2 μs - 4 μs and maximum capacitance of 50 pF.

The PCDA4-01 has a maximum current of 40 A and timing jitter of less than 900 ps. It has a built-in pulsed high voltage source and can be controlled either directly on the board or remotely. This pockels cell driver requires an input TTL signal amplitude of 3 V - 12 V & 5 V - 12 V and consumes 250 mA of current. It is available ultra-compact package that measures 30 mm × 50 mm × 8 mm and is ideal for actively Q-switched & hand-held Q-switched laser heads.
