The STEK-PCB3S-1342 from Sintec Optronics is a Electro-Optic (EO) Q-switch Beta Barium Borate (BBO) Pockels Cell that operates at a wavelength of 1342 nm. It has a single pass optical transmission of greater than 98% and a clear aperture diameter of 2.5 mm. This pockels cell has a quarter wave DC voltage below 2.4 kV, capacitance of 4 pF, and crystal deuteration of 99.9%.

The STEK-PCB3S-1342 has a contrast ratio above 1:500 and damage threshold of over 5 J/cm2 (at 1064 nm, 10 ns). It features low piezoelectric ringing and has 2 crystals with a size of 3 mm x 3 mm x 20 mm. This pockels cell is available in a compact package that measures Ø25.4 mm x 57.2 mm and is ideal for high repetition rate DPSS Q-switch, high repetition rate regenerative amplifier control, cavity dumping, and beam chopper applications.
