The C-RED 2 ER from First Light Imaging is an InGaAs-based SWIR Camera that operates from 1.3 to 2.2 µm. It has a quantum efficiency of over 70% and can run at 60 fps with 60 electrons readout noise. This camera is integrated with a 640 x 512 InGaAs PIN Photodiode detector with a 15 µm pixel pitch for high resolution. It has an electronic shutter with a speed of up to 5 µs and supports LVTTL/LVDS synchronization. The sensor can capture images at frame rates of up to 32066 fps in a 32 x 4 frame and up to 1779 fps in a 320 x 256 frame.
The C-RED 2 ER is available in a SWaP-optimized enclosure that measures 55 x 75 x 140 mm with C-mount optical interface. The camera is SDK compatible with µmanager and also supports LabVIEW and Matlab software. It is ideal for use in adaptive optics, hyperspectral imaging, multispectral imaging, laser communications, quality/production control, laser detection, OCT imaging, spectroscopy, fluorescence microscopy, LiDAR, and long-range imaging applications.
