The Micro-SWIR 640CSX MMT from Sensors Unlimited is an NIR/SWIR Camera that has a resolution of 640 x 512. It delivers a frame rate of 30/60 fps in continuous scan mode. This camera supports laser multimode tracking (MMT), asynchronous laser pulse detection (ALPD) and decoding of up to 3 pulsed laser sources simultaneously in both day and night conditions. For daytime laser spotting, the focal plane maximizes signal collection, using a 99.9% exposure/frame time duty cycle to capture pulsed lasers, succeeding even when lasers have slow repetition rates and/or narrow pulse widths. This unique approach for exposure, coupled with the novel MMT laser pulse detection circuit, results in easier identification of battlefield laser aim points.
The Micro-SWIR 640CSX MMT has a spectral response of 0.7-1.7 µm in the NIR/SWIR region with a quantum efficiency of over 65%. It has a high sensitivity imager with an active area of 9.6 mm x 7.68 mm which includes a single-stage TEC for thermal stabilization at high operating temperature set points. This enables a very stable non-uniformity correction (NUC) set to produce high quality imagery even through haze, dust and smoke. It uses a 12-bit base camera Link for output interface.
The Micro-SWIR 640CSX MMT requires a DC supply of 4.5-6 V and consumes 3 W of power. It is available in an MIL-rugged C-mount package that measures 31.8 x 31.8 x 34.3 mm with a digital output ST4 board-to-board connector and is ideal for laboratory, factory and military applications.
