The NanoRam-1064 from B&W Tek, Inc. is a Handheld Raman Spectrometer with a wavelength of 1064 nm. It has a spectral range from 176 to 2500 cm-1 and produces a laser output power of over 420 mW. This spectrometer can perform analysis through transparent containers maintaining the volume and integrity of the sample. It minimizes fluorescence to effectively identify more materials even with color. This LIMS compatible spectrometer offers a full onboard library and method validation which are also user-definable to meet particular analysis needs. It is controlled via a touch screen interface and uses Wi-Fi and USB for data transfer and synchronization with network terminals.
