The QuasIR 3000 from Galaxy Scientific is an FT-NIR Spectrometer that operates at a wavelength of 781 nm - 2630 nm. It has a spectral resolution of up to 0.3 nm (at 870 nm) and wavelength accuracy of ± 0.005 nm (at 1250 nm). This spectrometer has a wavelength repeatability of ± 0.006 cm^-1, reproducibility of ± 0.03 cm^-1, and 24-bit ADC. It has a photometric accuracy of 0.1% and signal-to-noise ratio of over 20000:1 with noise of greater than 20 micro au.

The QuasIR 3000 has a laser life above 10 years and an NIR source life of over 20000 hrs. It has a TE-cooled InGaAs detector and an automatic, internal & 4-position validation wheel. This spectrometer has a gold-coated integrating sphere sampling device with a 23 mm sampling area and diffuse reflectance for solids & transmission for liquids sampling modes.

The QuasIR 3000 can be controlled via a USB interface and has NEMA 4/IP65 enclosure protection. It requires a DC supply voltage of 12 V, consumes a current of 2 A, and dissipates a maximum power of 60 W. This spectrometer is EMC, RoHS & WEEE compliant and is available in a compact & portable package that measures 44.5 cm x 24.1 cm x 14.5 cm.
