The BTS2048-UV from Gigahertz-Optik is a CCD Spectroradiometer that has a spectral range of 190 nm - 430 nm. It has an electronic shutter with an optical bandwidth of 0.8 nm and a peak wavelength of ± 0.05 nm. This device (also known as BiTec Sensor) is a combination of a back-thinned CCD spectrometer and a Si photodiode that has a resolution of 2048 pixels and pixel resolution of 0.13 nm/pixel. It has a 16-bit ADC with an instruction cycle time of 25 ns and integration time of 2 μs - 60 s. This spectroradiometer has a baseline noise of 5 cts and signal-to-noise ratio of 5000. It has a dynamic range above 9 magnitudes and supports mathematical online band-pass correction.
The BTS2048-UV has one-stage thermoelectric cooler and a completely linearized chip with linearity of greater than 99.6 %. It has a 32-bit microprocessor for device control, an 8-bit microprocessor for photodiode control, and can be controlled via ethernet or USB 2.0 interfaces for data transfer. This spectroradiometer supports 3 measurement modes: standard, out of range stray light corrected, & stray light corrected bandpass and has a measurement time of 0.1 ms - 6000 ms. It requires a DC supply voltage of 5 V and consumes 700 mA of current. This device is available in a module that measures 103 mm (L) x 107 mm (W) x 52 mm (H) and is ideal for design applications & integration in test systems for front-end and back-end LED testing.
