The HF-8995-2 from Light Machinery is a NIR Spectrometer that has a spectral range from 950 to 1100 nm. It has a spectral resolution of 2.5 pm and a resolving power of 4 x 105. This spectrometer has an sCMOS sensor with a dynamic range of 9 x 103 and a quantum efficiency of 10%. It has a slit width of 5 or 10 µm, a numerical aperture of f/4.5, and a throughput of over 25%. This spectrometer can be controlled via a USB interface.

The HF-8995-2 has no moving parts which enable it to perform fast single-shot laser spectrum analysis, quick data acquisition, and export. It can measure fine features in plasmas, perform pulsed laser characterization and measure the small spectral shifts from Brillouin or Raman scattering. This spectrometer is available in a package that measures 250 x 600 x 150 mm and has 105 µm SMF/MMF fiber with FC/PC connector. It is ideal for plasma spectroscopy, high-precision gas spectroscopy, femtosecond comb fingerprinting spectroscopy, spectral-domain optical coherence tomography, solar spectroscopy, Brillouin spectroscopy, astronomical spectroscopy, Raman and ultra-low frequency Raman, undergraduate physics and chemistry laboratory applications.
