The Dragonfly (DF) from OtO Photonics are NIR Spectrometers that operate at a wavelength of 900 nm - 1700 nm and 1340 nm - 2280 nm. They have a resolution of 10 nm & 12 nm and wavelength accuracy of ±1 nm. These spectrometers have a slit width of 25 µm and stray light of up to 0.2%. They have a dark noise of 25 and signal-to-noise ratio of 8000. These spectrometers feature digital light processing (DLP) technology and utilize a digital micro-mirror device (DMD) chip in combination with single photon InGaAs photodiodes (SPAD) to provide larger light-detecting area.
The Dragonfly (DF) operate in three scan modes: column scan, Hadamard scan, and Slew scan. They use a green LED as a power indicator and red LED as a scanning indicator. These spectrometers can be controlled via micro-USB & UART data transfer interfaces and SMA905 fiber optic interface. They require a DC supply voltage of 5 V, consume 500 mA of current, and dissipate a maximum power of 0.7 W (idle) & 1.4 W (measuring). These spectrometers are available in a package that measures 71.5 (L) mm x 57 (W) mm x 25 (H) mm and 76.7 (L) mm x 60 (W) mm x 40 (H) mm.
