The FIU-15 from NKT Photonics is a White Light Supercontinuum Source that has a spectral range of 350 nm - 2400 nm. It delivers an output power of 5.5 W and has a repetition rate of 78 MHz with an optional variable repetition rate of 0.15 MHz - 78 MHz. This pulsed supercontinuum source has a spectral power density of 2 mW/nm (at 450 nm), 4 mW/nm (at 532 nm & 650 nm), 2.5 mW/nm (at 780 nm), and 2.8 mW/nm (at 800 nm). It has a cut-in wavelength of 415 nm and visible power of 1.5 W with power stability of ± 0.5%. This randomly polarized supercontinuum source produces a beam of diameter 1 mm (at 532 nm), 2 mm (at 1100 nm) & 3 mm (at 2000 nm) and has a beam quality factor (M2) of up to 1.1.

The FIU-15 has a beam pointing accuracy below 1 mrad and pulse suppression ratio above 1:10000. It can be controlled via USB 2.0/RS-232/Ethernet/15-pin sub-D external interfaces and supports 2-pin LEMO door interlock connector. This air-cooled supercontinuum source requires an AC supply voltage of 100 V - 240 V and consumes over 100 W (or 120 W with a pulse picker) of power. It is available in a package that measures 400 (L) mm x 440 (W) mm x 251 (H) mm and is ideal for microscopy, fluorescence, lifetime imaging, optical coherence tomography (OCT), spectroscopy, white light interferometry, plasmonics & metamaterials, and hyperspectral imaging applications.
