The POLARIS-5 from NORBLIS is a Mid-IR Supercontinuum Source that has a bandwidth of 1.9 µm - 5 µm. It delivers a minimum average power of 300 mW and has a pulse repetition rate of 3 MHz. This supercontinuum source has a power stability of 2% and warm-up time of 30 min. It has a collimated free-space beam and supports FC/PC or FC/APC connectors. This supercontinuum source is available in a module that measures 500 mm x 300 mm x 100 mm and is ideal for atmospheric trace gas sensing, multi-species spectroscopy, optical coherence tomography (OCT), microspectroscopy, optical fiber & waveguide characterization applications.
