The ASE-C0-MR-17-FCA from Nuphoton Technologies, Inc. is a Supercontinuum Source that operates at a wavelength of 1530 nm - 1565 nm. It delivers an output power of +17 dBm with a measurement accuracy of up to +/- 0.5 dB (at 1550 nm) and polarization dependence of less than 0.3 dB. This microprocessor-controlled supercontinuum source operates in AOPC (constant output power control) and ACC (constant pump current control) modes. It has a 900 µm loose tube SMF-28 optical output fiber that supports FC/APC connectors. This amplified spontaneous emission source can be controlled via RS-232 & UART interfaces and requires a DC supply voltage of +5 V. It is available in a package that measures 90 mm x 70 mm x 15 mm.
