The FemtoFiber dichro midIR from TOPTICA Photonics is a Mid-Infrared (MIR) Supercontinuum Source that operates at a wavelength of 5 µm - 15 µm. It delivers an output power of 1 W and has an emission bandwidth above 400 cm-1. This vertically polarized supercontinuum source has a power stability of less than 1% and repetition rate of 80 MHz. It produces a beam of diameter 10 mm - 15 mm, has an extinction ratio of 1:100, and a pointing stability of less than 1 mrad.
The FemtoFiber dichro midIR features SAM mode-locked all PM fiber setup and fully automated difference frequency generation (DFG) optimization. It has user-friendly turnkey operation and can be controlled via USB & Ethernet PC interfaces. This free space supercontinuum source requires a DC supply voltage of 24 V and consumes up to 160 W of power. It is available in a package that measures 502 (L) mm x 375 (W) mm x 161 (H) mm and is ideal for mid-infrared spectroscopy and imaging applications.
