The PL-SLD-1530-A-A82-PA from LD-PD Inc is a Superluminescent Diode that has a center wavelength of 1530 nm. It delivers an optical output power of 10 mW and has a spectral width of 40 nm. This SLD has an internal monitor photodiode (PD) and a thermoelectric cooler (TEC) that consumes 1.2 A of current. It has a thermistor resistance of 10 kOhm and an extinction ratio of 20 dB.

The PL-SLD-1530-A-A82-PA requires a forward voltage of 1.8 V and threshold current of 90 mA. It has a polarization mode pigtailed fiber with a length of 0.7 - 1 m and supports FC/APC fiber optic connectors.
