The GH-SW320 from Zillion Technologies is an InGaAs Area Image Sensor that has a spectral response of 0.9 µm - 1.7 µm and 0.4 µm- 1.7 µm (optional). It has a hybrid structure that consists of a CMOS readout circuit (ROIC: readout integrated circuit) and back-illuminated InGaAs photodiodes. This SWIR sensor has a pixel size of 320 (H) x 256 (V) and pixel pitch of 15 µm. It delivers a maximum full frame rate of 500 Hz with a pixel rate of 18 MHz. This SWIR sensor has a quantum efficiency above 70 % (1 µm – 1.6 µm) and dark current of 30 fA (at 0.1 V). It has three readout modes: ITR, IWR & CDS, and provides an exposure time of 0.2 µs to full frame.
The GH-SW320 has snapshot integration type and an output signal swing of up to 2 V. This SWIR sensor has minimum array operability of greater than 99.5 % and non-uniformity without correction of less than 5 %. It has Quartz / Sapphire windows with a single-stage thermoelectric cooler and a noise of 35 e- with ROIC. This SWIR sensor is available in a 28-pin hermetically sealed metal DIP package that measures 36 mm x 25.4 mm x 7.2 mm and is ideal for security, surveillance, scientific, spectral imaging, machine vision, line scan inspection, laser beam profiling, and process monitoring applications.
