The EPIQ-Lasers from Quantifi Photonics are Swept, Tunable CW Laser Sources that operate from 1260-1340 nm, 1260-1420 nm, and 1520-1580 nm. They provide an output power of over 10 mW and have a power stability of ±0.01 dB. These lasers have a linewidth (FWHM) of less than 200 MHz and signal to source ASE ratio of more than 60 dB.
The EPIQ-Laser sources use MEMS technology that is paired with a micro-electromechanics tuning mechanism for quick, voltage-controlled wavelength tuning and reliability. They have a step tuning time of 50 ms and a maximum sweep speed of 400 nm/s. These lasers have a trigger output that allows synchronization to the start and stop at each wavelength sweep. They also have an analog power output that provides a real-time reference of the laser’s power output for easy integration into automated test set-ups. These lasers are available in a module that measures 440 x 440 x 44.3 mm with FC/PC/SC/APC connectors and are ideal for R&D, production testing, optical component characterization, high-density fiber-optic sensor interrogation, and biomedical imaging applications.
These lasers require an AC supply of 110/220 V and consume up to 60 W of power.
