The True Gaussian Laser (TGL) from OSELA is a Gaussian Laser that operates from 405 to 830 nm. It delivers an output power from 15.35 to 100 mW and has a wavelength drift of 0.25 nm/degree. The laser produces a circular beam that has pointing stability of better than 6 µrad/°C, boresight of under 3 mrad, and a rise/fall time of less than 5µ sec. It requires a DC supply from 5 to 24 V and has a high polarization ratio of 100:1. The laser has an 18-inch power cable with flying leads and is ESD protected for over-voltage of up to 30 VDC. It uses unique optical technology to produce a fiber-like diffraction-limited beam in a compact standalone free space module. This technology allows for maintaining a high Gaussian fit (> 95% ) over a long working range with no secondary lobes that are typically found with direct diode lasers. This laser is ideal for life sciences, instrumentation, and positioning applications.
