The L Band Optical Delay Lines from RFOptic operates from 0.1 to 2.5 GHz. They have a delay range of 0.001 - 500 µsec with a delay accuracy of 0.5%. These optical delay lines can handle a maximum input power of 20 dBm and a VSWR of 2.1 with a switching time of 10 ms. They have phase noise of -130 dBc/Hz and spurious levels of -80 dBm. These ODLs provide a true-time delay of wideband RF signals using low-loss optical fiber. They can be controlled via a USB interface and can be configured to form up to 4096 delays using up to 12 predefined time delay values.
The L Band Optical Delay Lines support a single delay ODL configuration and the control & monitoring are implemented using software, a navigation switch, and an LCD display, or through a USB connection. These ODLs require an AC supply of 110/220 V and are available in a 19-inch rack-mounted package that measures 440 x 500 x 133 mm. They can be connected via SMA RF connectors or FC/APC fiber connectors and are ideal for radar calibration testing, signal and phase noise processing, extension of radar range site, clutter canceler, EW systems, and altimeter applications.
