Founded in 2002, Sparkle Optics is a developer of optical network components. It received an SBIR award in 2003 to develop a new class of high power solid-state laser. Since then it has grown to become a supplier of high-power diffraction-limited solid-state lasers for customers’ applications. It designs and manufactures advanced lasers to customer specifications, not available from any other laser company. The company also provides system engineering services for new laser applications. It has won a SBIR Phase III, and has a DCAA approved accounting system suitable for government customers.
