Chiral Photonics Inc. (CPI) designs and manufacturers multicore fiber (MCF) fanouts that are Telcordia- and submarine-qualified and have been demonstrated with insertion loss below 0.15 dB across the C-band. Fanouts are being incorporated into the first space division multiplexed (SDM) submarine cables that feature multicore fiber, terrestrial communication cables, medical devices and 3D shape-sensing applications.
In addition, CPI designs and manufactures a host of optical components including high-density fiber arrays, polarizers, pump-signal combiners and high-temperature sensors.
