Company Overview
ROBUST AO was founded in 2020 by Dr.-Ing. Claudia Reinlein, M.Eng. Marlies Gier and M.Eng. Immanuel Burkhardt. It is a owner-managed company and spin-off of the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Optics and Precision Engineering (IOF) in Jena. As it is the founders shared passion to develop adaptive optical solutions, we started ROBUST AO as an EXIST Project. Although we are still a young start-up, we collectively possess more than 15 years of experience in developing and manufacturing high-quality adaptive optical solutions.
