We solve the optical delay scanning challenge in laser measurements by delivering the first single-cavity dual-comb lasers to the market. Our core solution is based on the latest scientific findings of ultrafast lasers research – the dual-comb modelocking. Our approach produces two spatially separated optical frequency combs which have slightly different repetition rates. Since the two pulse trains emerge from the same optical cavity, their noise properties are highly correlated and thus no high-frequency electronic feedback is necessary to obtain low relative timing jitter.
