Company Overview
Avensys was founded in 1995 under the name SCI Informatique, whose main mission was to develop and distribute 2-factor audio authentication smart cards. In May 2002, the company completed the acquisition of two other companies, Omnitronix and Nortech GSI. These acquisitions enabled it to connect a number of environmental sensors to various channels of communication and varied network infrastructures. They also provided the products and resources necessary for the distribution and services of environmental measuring equipment and sensors throughout all of Canada.
