The EPIC Online Technology Meeting on Hybrid Photonic Integrated Circuits aims to discuss how the record breaking experimental demonstrations will address entirely new approaches for precise mass manufacture of PICs with unprecedented variety and flexibility. The traditional silicon platform cannot provide all of the functionality required for fully integrated photonic circuits and, therefore, the last decade has seen a strong increase in research and development of hybrid and heterogeneous photonic integrated circuits. This event is conducted via virtual/digital format.
