Designed to teach the knowledge required to perform the duties of Laser Safety Officer as described in the ANSI Z136.1 Safe Use of Lasers standard. Information on lasers and optics, applications, bioeffects, beam and non-beam hazards, hazard analysis, control measures and training on laser safety program development and administration. This course meets all LSO training requirements outlined by ANSI, OSHA and ACGIH. Worth 32 CECs by AAHP, 4.5 BLS CM Points by the Board of Laser Safety and eligible for ABIH CM Points.
