TERAVIL, started in 2006, is a spin-off company from Optoelectronics laboratory in the Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (in 2006 it was Semiconductors Physics Institute). It is known as manufacturer of photoconductive, terahertz range detectors and emitters. TERAVIL has strong ties with Center for Physical Sciences and Technology (State institute), so it has access to the technological and scientific facilities of the center.
