LOTIS Ltd. (Lasers - Optics - Technology and Systems) was founded in 1992 by a group of leading experts from the Physics Institute Byelorussian Academy of Sciences to implement their research achievements and wide experience in pulsed solid state laser equipment. By 1996 LOTIS Ltd. and the Japanese firm Tokyo Instruments Inc. founded Joint Venture LOTIS TII (JV LOTIS TII). Both firms have combined their strengths toward the development of laser products for the global market.
