The PIRT1280A1-12 from Princeton Infrared Technologies is a 1.31 Megapixel InGaAs SWIR Sensor that has a spectral range of 0.4 µm - 1.68 µm. It delivers a frame rate of 95 fps (1280 x 1024) & 387 fps (512 x 512) and has a resolution of 1280 (H) x 1024 (V) pixels. This SWIR sensor has a 14-bit ADC with a pixel pitch of 12 µm and full well capacity of 50 ke-. It has a dynamic range above 1000:1, quantum efficiency of 0.75 electron/photon, and fill factor of 100%. This SWIR sensor has a readout noise of 75 e- and integration time of 5e-6 s - 0.080 s, 5e-6 s - 1.010 s & 5e-6 s - 143 s.

The PIRT1280A1-12 has a dark signal rate of 40 ke-/s and detectivity of 1.3 x 1013 cm-√Hz/W. It has maximum inoperable pixels of 0.5 % and a non-linearity of ±1 %. This SWIR sensor features snapshot exposure and has no image lag. It consumes a power of less than 200 mW and is available in a ceramic submount or hermetic package that measures 49.53 mm x 35.56 mm x 7.62 mm. This SWIR sensor is ideal for earth monitoring satellites, imaging through the atmosphere, chemical detection, thermal imaging, and moisture detection applications.
