SPI Lasers, at Laser World of Photonics 2019, is set to introduce its latest nanosecond Pulsed Fiber Laser at 250W average power. The product is tailored to enable the productivity requirements for battery manufacturing. Laser World of Photonics is the world’s largest trade fair for Photonics Components, Systems and Applications and is scheduled from June 24-27 in the city of Munich.
SPI’s latest product enhances their line of hugely successful redENERGY Pulsed Fiber Lasers, proven to be the pinnacle of nanosecond pulsed technology, with enhanced features for micro-machining and micro joining. With peak power in excess of 10kW contained within an easily integrated water-cooled unit the new 250 W EP-Z redENERGY Fiber Laser features an unrivaled 1.5 mJ pulse energy with selectable pulse durations of between 10ns – 1400ns; ideally suited for battery foil cutting and welding applications.
For customers wanting to gain a better understanding of the capabilities of redENERGY pulsed lasers; ns welding, VIN Marking and Battery Foil Cutting, demonstrations will be happening on the SPI Lasers stand throughout the duration of the show.
The company will also be taking the opportunity to showcase their redPOWER QUBE CW (300 W – 20 kW) products into the European market, now encompassing the latest variMODE beam switching technology. This is a fantastic opportunity for prospective customers to speak to their experts and identify just how these Fiber Lasers can improve industrial manufacturing processes by maximizing efficiency, reducing production times and costs.
SPI Lasers, at the event, will be present in Hall A3, Booth #403 where company experts will be on-hand to answer questions on the latest innovations as well showcase SPI’s complete product portfolio of fiber Lasers.
