TOPTICA Photonics has announced the opening of its newest division, TOPTICA Photonics (China), with a head office in Shanghai and a branch in Beijing. Initially founded in March 2019, the new division will serve the needs of the Chinese academic and industrial sectors in the markets of quantum technologies, bio-photonics and materials (processing, test & measurement).

Headed by Dr. Juergen Stuhler (Chairman) of TOPTICA Photonics AG, and Jason Fu (Manager), the goal of TOPTICA Photonics China is to provide unparalleled sales, service and application support for the full range of laser technologies developed and produced by TOPTICA Photonics.

According to Dr. Juergen Stuhler, through directly introducing the broad TOPTICA laser portfolio via local presence, the company now looks forward to grow its Chinese customer base and promote the brand. By founding the new division, TOPTICA can now offer customers in China direct sales and services for picosecond and femtosecond seeders. TOPTICA Photonics China will also support and supply customers in the areas of quantum technology, tunable and single-frequency diode lasers, frequency combs, wavemeters, light engines for laser light microscopy, and Terahertz systems for industrial metrology and security applications.

According to Jason Fu, TOPTICA’s trained and experienced Chinese team consists of more than a dozen laser and optical specialists. They will assist customers in China by providing strong local support in application, service and technical sales.
