greenTEG is set to showcase its portfolio of new gRAY laser power and position sensors for ultrafast laser applications at the upcoming Laser World of Photonics event to be held from June 26 - 29, 2017 in Munich. With an ever increasing need for precision and speed in industrial laser processes, appropriate sensor technology is necessary need currently for measurement and control. greenTEG’s new gRAY laser power and position sensors measure laser power independent of wavelength (UV to IR) and in many applications with higher precision than similar sensor technology.

The gRAY laser power and position sensors are integrated into a wide range of OEM products to monitor processes e.g. in laser sources and high-precision medical and industrial laser systems. The sensors have been especially designed for easy OEM integration and are available as bare-die, mounted, PCB-mounted, or housed sensors. A novel and patented design enables greenTEG to produce sensors with exceptionally small footprints, therefore making them ideal for OEM systems integration and also measure laser power independent of the wavelength from UV to IR. The smallest sensor in the portfolio measures a mere (2 × 2) mm2 with a thickness of only 500 µm while having 100% thermopile coverage. All sensors are fully developed and manufactured by a dedicated team of specialists in Switzerland.

Analog amplifiers and analog-to-digital electronics with I2C interface and signal compensation against temperature changes complement greenTEG's offering at the event. To know more about gRAY Laser Power and Position Sensors, click here.
