k-Space, a leading manufacturer of in-situ, in-line, and ex-situ metrology tools for the semiconductor, thin-film, and photovoltaic industries, has announced the appointment of Heidi Olson as its new Sales Director. Heidi will support k-Space’s global growth in the semiconductor and photovoltaics industries and continue to build out the company’s presence in the glass manufacturing, solar, and industrial markets.
“We are pleased to welcome Heidi Olson to our team,” said Darryl Barlett, k-Space CEO. “We have previously worked with her as a component supplier to k-Space, so we have experienced firsthand her proven track record in sales. Add to this her technical expertise in optics and nanofabrication, and we are confident she is the right fit for k-Space.”
Heidi has previously served as a Senior Business Development Manager and Technical Sales Engineer, demonstrating her ability to drive growth and cultivate client relationships. Heidi holds an M.S. in Optics from the University of Central Florida and a B.S. in Physics with a minor in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse. All k-Space sales staff have a background in science or engineering.
