New Imaging Technologies (NIT), a France-based leader in advanced imaging solutions, has announced the expansion of its CMOS camera portfolio. This move strengthens its position at the forefront of sensor innovation. Known for its expertise in SWIR and visible spectrum technologies, NIT continues to set new standards in high dynamic range imaging for industrial, scientific, and defense sectors.
HDR Visible CMOS cameras
NIT offers a comprehensive range of visible imaging products that include both sensors and fully integrated camera systems. All of the company’s products feature proprietary High Dynamic Range (HDR) technology. At the core of this innovation is NIT’s patented pixel architecture, which produces highly stable images within an exceptionally wide intra-scene dynamic range of up to 140 dB. This level of performance is achieved in a single frame time without relying on multi-exposure methods, knee point adjustments, or external controls.
NIT's products are well-suited for a wide range of machine vision and industrial applications. In any high-flux scene, an NIT high dynamic range sensor or camera provides the optimal imaging solution.
Among the standout models in the expanded CMOS lineup is the MC1003, which offers a 1280x1024 resolution and a 6.8 µm pixel pitch. It supports multiple shutter modes- rolling, global, and differential- and is compatible with standard data transmission protocols, making it suitable for a wide range of vision systems.
For applications where space and weight are critical, the MN1003 provides the same core imaging advantages in a compact body under 60 grams. Its small dimensions (30 x 30 x 38 mm) allow seamless integration into mobile or embedded platforms without compromising image quality.
The MC1105F targets night vision and low-light imaging. With a 1.3-megapixel resolution and the same HDR foundation, it is optimized for integration into intensified vision systems operating under rapidly changing light levels.
These new CMOS cameras are engineered to meet the demands of various sectors, including semiconductor inspection, laser monitoring, welding and additive manufacturing, security and surveillance, and life sciences.
With this latest range of CMOS cameras, NIT underscores its commitment to delivering reliable, high-performance imaging solutions for the most demanding environments. By combining compact designs with unparalleled dynamic range, NIT is well-positioned to support the next generation of vision systems across critical industries worldwide.
