Scientists are encouraged to submit papers for presentation at M&M 2015, Microscopy & Microanalysis, which emphasizes correlative imaging as its overarching theme. Symposia will cover areas including fast and ultrafast imaging with electrons and photons, optogenetic advancements in understanding basic brain function, and deep-tissue imaging and light-sheet microscopy. Among other topics to be considered are dynamic fluorescence microscopy, multiphoton imaging for visualizing deep into a living tissue, precise sample preparation by laser microdissection, and unique uses of light and electron microscopy to characterize materials that have failed.
