Leading developer and manufacturer of optical components, INGENERIC, will be exhibiting its latest product portfolio of optical components and laser systems, at the SPIE Photonics West 2020 event. With its unique technology portfolio, INGENERIC has advanced to become one of the leading suppliers of beam shaping optics for semiconductor lasers. Furthermore, the company offers precision molding of optical glass including design, process layout and fabrication of ultra-precision molding systems.

At the event, INGENERIC’s featured products exhibit will include, Optical components, Optical systems and laser systems, FAC and SAC, Aspheres, Microlens arrays, Molding. Among the main highlights will be the company’s newly announced beamPROP lens arrays and Micro aspheres for advanced endoscopic applications.

beamPROP Blue - High Quality Beam Transformation for Blue Diode Laser Bars

INGENERIC, at Photonics West, will be presenting a new generation of beamPROP lens arrays optimized for blue diode laser bars emitting at 450 nm, the beamPROP Blue. Its outstanding performance results from the precise shape and geometry of lens arrays. The precise orientation and centration further to a thickness of double sided lens arrays finally lead to exceptional high quality beam transformation. Another key feature is an almost complete usable aperture of the lens array with low transition zones less than 10 µm. The optical glass itself demonstrates high internal transmission in the blue wavelength range (> 99.7%).

The new type of beamPROP is available as single component or as a complete set with pre-aligned FAC and beamPROP. Special benefits as low handling costs and time are achieved by the automated assembly of components. Please, inform yourself about the excellent positioning accuracy in the micrometer range along with assembly and packaging in our new clean room environment.

Micro Aspheres for Advanced Endoscopic Applications

After the successful merger with German company AIXTOOLING in 2019, INGENERIC introduced new micro-optical aspheres for the application in medical and industrial endoscopes. The need for highest optical resolution - 4K or in future even 8K - derives significant changes to the optical system design. Only the use of aspheres offers substantial advantages to reduce abberations and distortion. INGENERIC’s advanced manufacturing technology allows micro aspheres in glass with large numerical apertures, form accuracies down to 100 nm PV and a surface roughness in the angstroms range. The company offers all-surface-molding, whereas lens diameters differ from 2 to 5 mm.

INGENERIC offers manufacturing capacity and knowledge for prototyping as well as for volume production. It covers the entire process chain for the precision molding of micro optics in glass. The company’s technology is characterized by highest reproducibility and is dedicated for imaging optics in diverse high-tech applications.
