Teledyne Micropac, a business unit of Teledyne Technologies, has announced the TDOC1049-06Lxx, a single-channel phototransistor optocoupler designed to provide a cost-effective solution while maintaining the electrical performance and environmental durability required for high-reliability applications.
The device provides a lower-cost alternative to traditional DLA-qualified optocouplers, enabling program managers and system designers to optimize cost, performance and risk in applications that do not require full qualification. Electrically similar to the widely used 4N49, the TDOC1049-06Lxx supports seamless integration into existing designs, reducing redesign effort and accelerating deployment timelines.
Designed for avionics, satellite electronics and high-reliability industrial systems, the optocoupler ensures reliable signal isolation, coupling and level shifting in harsh environments where long-term performance and durability are critical. Its flexible architecture supports a range of system requirements while maintaining compatibility with established platforms.
“Customers are seeking solutions that balance cost, performance and program risk,” said Matt Kroese, Optocoupler Product Line Manager at Teledyne Micropac. “The TDOC1049-06Lxx expands our portfolio with a cost-effective option that maintains the proven reliability and performance our customers depend on.”
