The GBE02-B from Thorlabs Inc is a Fixed Beam Expander that has an expansion of 2X. It has a broadband anti-reflection coating range of 650 nm - 1050 nm with a transmission of above 96% (780 nm & 980 nm). This achromatic Galilean beam expander has a maximum input beam diameter of 9.7 mm and 8.5 mm (diffraction-limited). It has a closest focusing distance of ± 1.2 m and surface quality of 20-10 scratch-dig. This beam expander has a reflectance per surface of less than 0.5% and damage threshold of 7.5 J/cm2 (810 nm, 10 Hz, 10 ns, Ø76.9 &mum). It has peak-to-valley wavefront error of up to 1/4th of a wavelength and uses SM05 & SM1 threads. This beam expander has a sliding lens design fabricated from N-BK7 & N-BASF2 and is available in a housing that measures 30.5 mm x 30.5 mm x 52 mm. It is ideal for narrowband and mid-IR applications.
