The TDCM from Primanex is a Dispersion Compensation Module that operates at a wavelength of 1528.77 nm - 1567.95 nm. It has a channel spacing of 100 or 50 and wavelength shift capability of up to 50 nm. This dispersion compensation module has a dispersion tuning range of ± 1200 ps/nm and dispersion resolution of 5 GHz. It has a dispersion accuracy of less than ± 45 ps/nm and group delay ripple of 10 ps & 15 ps (peak-to-peak). This dispersion compensation module has a polarization dependent loss (PDL) of less than 0.2 dB and polarization mode dispersion (PMD) above 1 GHz.

The TDCM has an insertion loss below 5.5 dB and insertion loss ripple of 1 dB. It has a return loss over 45 dB and maximum tuning speed of 20 s. This dispersion compensation module supports SMF-28e+ fiber with a 0.9 mm loose tube and length of 1 m. It is available in a module that measures 90 mm x 70 mm x 16 mm or 22 mm x 17 mm x 130 mm (mini version). This dispersion compensation module is ideal for dynamic dispersion compensation in 40/100Gbps networks, dispersion management in 10Gbps networks, DWDM network, and system upgrade applications.
