The ODL300 from Thorlabs Inc is an Optical Delay Line that provides a maximum optical delay of 2000 ps. It has an inherent delay of 607 ps (at 0 mm) and a delay sensitivity of 0.67 fs with a travel range of 300 mm (11.81 inches). This ODL produces an output beam that is 87.7 mm (3.45 inches) in height and has a maximum speed of 400 mm/s with an acceleration of 10000 mm/s2. It uses a brushless DC motor and includes a DC servo stage, controller, high rigidity, recirculating, precision linear bearings, and retroreflector optics with mounts. This ODL can be controlled via a 16-Bit digital PID servo loop with velocity and acceleration feedforward.
The ODL300 includes two SM05D5D Lever-Actuated irises with two FT-SM05 FiberBench Optic mounting positions. It uses UM10-AG Ultrafast-Enhanced Silver Mirrors and MRAK25-P01 Protected Silver Knife-Edge Right-Angle Prism Mirror to provide high reflectance in the spectral range of 750 - 1000 nm and minimal group delay dispersion making these systems well suited for use with femtosecond pulsed lasers. This ODL requires a one-channel benchtop BBD301 controller and requires an AC supply of 100 - 240 V & consumes 250 W of power. It is available in a module that measures 500 x 130 x 50 mm and is ideal for pulsed pump-probe experiments, autocorrelations, cross-correlations, optical sampling, pulse synchronization, wavemeters, and other interferometric sensor applications.
