The Paraxia-Plus-10 from SciOpt Enterprises is an Optical Design Software developed for laser system design on Windows-based computers. It enables the study of laser resonator characteristics, laser beam interactions with components outside the resonator, or both. This software features an easy graphical user interface with a "Digital Laser Workbench" for dynamic system analysis. It includes powerful algorithms for ABCD methods, supporting tilted, decentered, and complex elements.
The Paraxia-Plus-10 has rigorous FFT- & FHT-based beam propagation of arbitrary waveforms, including intensity and phase masking. It enables the study of diffractive effects from hard-edged apertures and beam effects from varying transmission & phase. This software supports ABCD, FRESNEL, VSOURCE, and VRM features with strip & circular geometries, while integrating ABCD & FRESNEL into the same module for ease of use.
The Paraxia-Plus-10 features optimization, worst-case, and statistical tolerancing analysis. It includes auto M2 calculation, resonator & beam train in the same file, interactive parameter plots, and detailed tabulation of Waist, Wavefront Radius, Z" & Rayleigh Range at each element. The software has beam diagrams with elements drawn, user-defined elements, a spreadsheet editor, and multiple open projects. It supports Xops (user code in the propagation module) and user-supplied Gainsheets. This optical design software also integrates Import Wave, Mask Wave & Script Editor functions and supports Virtual Source methods for unstable & Variable Reflectivity Mirror resonators.
