The LSB09016 from Knight Optical (UK) Ltd is a Sapphire Ball Optical Lens that transmits in the UV and IR region of 185-2000 nm. It has a focal length of 0.92 mm and a back focal length of 0.12 mm. This uncoated ball lens has a sphericity of 0.625 µm with a diameter of 1.5875 mm. It can couple light in and out fibres and are ideal as objective lenses in endoscopy, laser measurement systems, bar-code scanning and fibre coupling applications.
