The FTBx-735C from EXFO Inc. is an Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) that operate at central wavelengths of 1310 nm, 1490 nm, 1550 nm, and 1625 nm. It has a wavelength uncertainty of ± 10 nm or ± 20 nm and pulse width of 3 ns - 20000 ns. This OTDR has a dynamic range above 41 dB or 42 dB (at 20 μs) and distance range of 0.1 km - 400 km. This OTDR has a real-time refresh rate of 4 Hz, reflectance of ± 2 dB, and delivers a stable source output power of -2.5 dBm. It is available in a compact package that measures 158 mm (H) x 24 mm (W) x 174 mm (D) and is ideal for FTTx/MDU test challenges within PON networks, metro/core network testing (P2P) & manufacturing automation applications.
