The A-CUBE-S1500-03 from Laser Components is a Silicon Avalanche Photodetector that operates at a wavelength of 400 nm - 1000 nm. It has a responsivity of 27 MV/W (540 nm), 40 MV/W (650 nm), and 50 MV/W (905 nm). This APD has a noise equivalent power (NEP) of 37 fW/rt(Hz) (540 nm), 25 fW/rt(Hz) (650 nm), and 20 fW/rt(Hz) (905 nm). It has an active area diameter of 1.5 mm with a bandwidth from DC to 3 MHz. This APD has a peak sensitivity of 905 nm and an output noise density of 1000 nV/rt(Hz). 

The A-CUBE-S1500-03 has a maximum input-referred noise density of 1 pA/rt(Hz) and an irradiated power (at 905 nm, 50 Ohms) of 30 nW. It has a matched preamplifier, an integrated high voltage supply, and in-built temperature compensation circuitry. This APD can be controlled via an RS-232 interface and supports optional optical fiber coupling & FC connector. It requires a DC supply of 12 V and is available in a compact module that measures 40.6 mm x 40.6 mm x 49.78 mm. This APD is ideal for APD evaluation, range finding, LiDAR, optical communication systems, spectroscopy, fluorescence, and medical applications.
