The C-RED 3 from First Light Imaging is a 0.33 Megapixel InGaAs SWIR Camera that has a spectral range of 0.9 µm - 1.7 µm. It has a resolution of 640 (H) x 512 (V) pixels with an electronic shutter that delivers a maximum frame rate of 600 fps. This camera has a quantum efficiency of 73% (peak) & above 65% (at 1 µm - 1.65 µm) and pixel pitch of 15 µm. It has a 14-bit quantization with an image full well capacity of 1400 ke- (low gain), 128 ke- (medium gain) & 33 ke- (high gain). This camera has a readout noise of 37 e- (at high gain) and dark current of 817 ke-.The C-RED 3 has an operability of over 99.5% and a maximum speed of 32066 fps.
The C-RED 3 supports USB 3.1 (Gen 1) or CameraLink® data interfaces and C-Mount, T-mount & CS-Mount optical interfaces. It uses GUI first light vision software and SDKs that includes [C, C++, C#, Python, MatLab], LabVIEW & µManager. This camera supports LVTTL synchronization and HDR mode with an adaptive bias firmware feature. It is available in a module that measures 56 mm x 56 mm x 59.5 mm with an optional liquid cooling plate. This camera is ideal for adaptive optics, laser beam profiling, free-space optical communications, welding, quality/production control, unmanned aerial vehicles, and hyperspectral imaging applications.
